A company was created in 1991 and started its business activity as Marbud. It was run on the basis of the entry into the Business Activity Register. A scope of the activity involved construction works especially directed towards finishing works in the designed objects of untypical and modern solutions and of a high standard of workmanship. A direct follower of Marbud activity was Budner company set up in 1994. A basic area of activity remained a realization of any construction works according to investors’ orders.
Since 1994 Budner company has started a realization of works on a turnkey basis concerning office and hotel areas. At that time the activity was connected with the realization of its own investments in office objects. Basing on Budner company’s experience, suitable objects were selected and during a long-term lease, necessary adaptations or renovations were made. After that they were rented for office purposes.
Possessing and renting its own office objects has made the company management start the activity of real estates management. Initially, the department served only its own objects but later it directed its offer to other subjects such as Housing Cooperatives and office areas administrators.
A significant period of company’s activity was in 2000-2003. A recession of that time in a construction sector resulted in a number of actions aiming at the optimization of all processes and operations. Internal management systems of tender process and construction works supervision were introduced.
Since a revival in a construction sector at the beginning of 2003, the company has started to realize contracts acting as a general contractor. In this way both office and residential buildings were erected. It also completed some projects of industrial objects including not big but a complex realization of a production plant.
Budner company profited from a sudden revival in a development market and started its own residential projects in 2006. In a short period of time both apartments as well as detached houses in Piaseczno near Warsaw were completed and put into use. Other projects are now being realized in Warsaw, Gdansk and Piaseczno.
In 2006 a cooperation with construction companies from Germany and Holand was initiated. The result of the actions was a cooperative production of prefabricated concrete units with a dozen of Budner company’s employees delegated to work abroad.
The year 2007 specified the company’s strategy and actions undetaken to concentrate on the most profitable areas and optimization of internal processes. For this reason, real estates management activity and export activity in the form of a cooperation with German and Dutch partners was finished. Taking into account a dynamic company’s development and the requirement for larger premises, starting from the first days of 2008 Budner company moved its offices to a modern building in Warsaw at Puławska Street.
